Mission Rwanda: 2009

Next year more than 100 people will join Africa New Life Ministries in Rwanda.  Musicians, businesspeople, doctors, nurses, students, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters will come together for one reason: serving Rwanda.

God will do amazing things in Rwanda next summer.  Already, the Kigali Palau Festival is scheduled.  And, a Season of Service was already established to surround the festival.

Join ANLM in Rwanda for this Season of Service next summer.  Trips are already scheduled and teams are filling quickly.

If you are interested in getting more information about how you can join a team, please e-mail brooke@africanewlife.org.

If you would like to support ANLM’s short-term teams next year, please consider send donations to the U.S. office with a note for “Summer Teams 2009”.

Joyce Update

Joyce has had surgery on both of her legs and is in the hospital recovering.  This is a great strain on Joyce’s family, financially and emotionally.  Doctors predict Joyce will be in the hospital for at least one month.  Please keep them in your prayers!

Both of her parents have taken time off from working to care for her in the hospital, and need our prayers.  We are praying for a miraculous recovery for Joyce and that she’ll be able to quickly return home and to school.

Joyce, one of the children sponsored through ANLM in Kigali, was involved in a bad accident yesterday.  On her way home from school, she was struck by a fast-moving motorbike.  Both of her legs were broken.  Joyce was taken to Kanombe Military Hospital where she was given surgery.  Her condition is currently stable.  Please pray for Joyce and her family as she begins recovery.
